MiniNote - Write Quick Notes App Reviews

This app crashes on both my iPad And phone when I try to sync my accounts. After I paid for it both on my Mac and for mobile devices. Disappointed!

I liked this app very much when I first got it and thought it would be my go-to notes app - but now, when I have information stored in it, it has frozen up completely and will not work at all. The app itself will open up but I cannot access my notes. They wont open. I cannot add any more notes. Sometimes when I close the app itself, it pops open again on me, but still doesnt work at all. I am not having this problem with any other apps. I have tried rebooting my iPad but it did not help. I am going to wait another week and see what happens, and then I will have to get rid of it - along with all my notes. I feel pretty disgusted over this. To others - BEWARE!

I second the person who complained about FipLabs unresponsiveness except, instead of wanting to talk about adding new features, I have beef with the current features not even working. I use the Mac version because I like the convenience of writing notes from the status bar. However, it and the iOS versions have difficulty syncing, which severely mitigates their usefulness. I have not bothered contacting FipLab this time around because of their utter lack of response previously when I reported that the iOS version kept crashing immediately upon opening.

I have an iPhone 5 and just updated to iOS 8. After the update, anytime I try to open a NotesTab file that I KNOW had a lot of info, the file will NOT open and will go back to the screen where it shows the name of the files. Im pretty sure it depends on how many characters the file has. The files where I have the most info will not open now. The files with the most characters are the most important files for me. Please fix this, so I can open them again in iOS 8.

My notestab had a lot of important info in it and after I upgraded to IOS 8 whenever I try to open a note the app crashes please fix this so I can get to my information

Since updating to the new operating system, the app immediately crashes when I open a list. Used to be a great app but the developers have missed the ball on optimizing for ios8.

great idea. syncing would be fantastic - if it works crashes regularly not really working for ipad no-one improves the app stick with notes from mac it does the same

Half my notes crash the app when I try to open them on my 5! Luckily I still have my 4 on iOS7, so I didnt lose them.

Cant believe how horrible this app has gotten. Maybe IOS 8 blew it up .. wont even load on iPhone 5 w/out crashing. The 2nd notes app to die on me! Back to Apple Notes forever .. this things toast

The latest update fixes the iOS crash solution. NotesTab for iOS and NotesTab Pro for OS X is the best for jotting down quick notes/thoughts and have them sync across devices and your Mac. I used to work with NValt on OS X and Nebulous on iOS. NotesTab is much quicker and more convenient. Of course every now and then a software update may introduce a hiccup, but the developers are super responsive. Couldnt live without NotesTab. Solid app.

It is a simple writing app, just as shown in the description, nothing less. I have several long pieces of writing without any issues. Like its simplicity with some nice perks that makes it user friendly. Thank you!

It is a nice application. For a buck or so, its a keeper. I’ve had it for years now on the desktop where its really very nice & I use it sporadically among the many similar apps I own as an organizational tool junkie. NotesTab is not as useful on a phone-sized device as on a desktop, and arguably you could use Reminders & Apple Notes to make do instead. NotesTab is very clean & straightfoward. There are other note apps that are as useful, some more useful to me, although they cost more as well. This is worth a try for a buck. Which is more than anyone paid for my opinion!

Excellent App! Like most, I have tried just about every note taking App out there, but for some reason this is the one Ive been hoping to find. To make it easier, I dictate my notes by using the mic on the keyboard, that way it frees up my hands, it could be any easier.

Failed to sync with my macbook, make me lost my updated notes and bring back old notes few months ago.. Twice!

I would love this app but it has developed a aggravating and frustrating trait which does not correct after deleting the app; upon finishing dictating text it will duplicate the text in an inappropriate and quixotic location either at the end of or within the previously dictated text. I sincerely hope that you can correct this annoying glitch.

Needs to be refreshed with more features and iPhone 6/Plus optimization.

The icon doesnt show up on the phone you have to go into apps and reopen

When I purchased this I simply wanted a note taking app that synced between devices, thats all. For a while it worked fine then I loss data due to the failure of the app to sync as it had and I stopped using it. I just recently went back to the app thinking it probably had improved and it worked a while then failed again. Ill find another app in that this one fails to provide the only feature that makes it worthwhile. Very poor management of your app.

There is a plethora of various notes apps, but this one maintains its own small niche. iOS version is not worth by itself but in combination with OS X version (which has great menubar options), which is great for quick taking of notes and syncing them across devices. The only thing I wish to have here is a "background app refresh" support.
